Our Goals

Teaching Uechi-Ryu Karate

Our primary goal is to teach you the best of Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do.
As a beginner, you will start by the Uechi-Ryu Core systems through the 10 traditional Kyus up to the Black Belt.
After this 1st important step, you will be able to continue your learning path within the different degrees and in parallel start a new travel within the OldWay populated by GrandMaster George Mattson.

Making you feeling better (Physically and Mentally)

Training with the Uechi-Ryu systems will enable your body and your mind. This is the essence of Sanchin Kata the Uechi-Ryu cornerstone.
Traditional Uechi-Ryu Karate is not only a learning way but a real Way Of Life.

Making you part of great group of practitioners

Within the community of Practice we have the luck to get motivated, open-minded, engaged and enthusiastic Karatekas.
This will be a way as well a real opportunity to meet practitioners from different countries, different cultures but part of the same family : the Uechi-Ryu family.

Joining the Uechi-Ryu Kenkyujo

Kenkyujo Learning Platform
By joining the Institute you will have access to our learning platform where you will find specific lessons to learn based on your level and based on your availability.

On-Line Class
Our Sensei (Lionel Reynaud) is leading 3 weekly classes.
As a Kenkyujo member you will have access to theses classes and you will have a Monthly or a Fortnightly individual coaching session with the Sensei.

Membership / Fees
The Kenkyujo Monthly fee is 30 Euros.
With your Membership you will enter in the Uechi-Ryu Oryukai Community of Practice and will join the International Uechi-Ryu Karate Federation and for the Europeans the European Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do Association (Representing Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do Kyokai in Europe).
